Bishrampur is a small town in the Surajpur district of Chhattisgarh in India. It is a nagar panchayat and lies 12 Km south east of the district headquarters Surajpur. Bishrampur is the place for Asia’s largest drag-line machines used for coal excavation. The machines imported from United States of America in 1962 are named Shiv and Shakti.
